Sports Hall of Fame
The Kingston & District Sports Hall of Fame honours individuals whose contributions to sport in Kingston and surrounding region have brought distinction to the community and to themselves. Inductees feature National Hockey League greats such as Kirk Muller, Doug Gilmour and Bob Murray, famous hockey coach-turned-commentator Don Cherry as well as marathon swimmer Vicki Keith.
The Kingston & District Sports Hall of Fame will move from its current home at the Memorial Centre to the K-Rock Centre where inductee plaques will be featured prominently in the main concourse. Exhibits of memorable artifacts significant to the sporting history of the Kingston area will also be on display throughout the facility.
The Kingston & District Sports Hall of Fame is in the process of building their website and their web-link will be featured here once it becomes available.
