Bus Transportation:

Event-goers presenting their event ticket stubs to a bus driver after an event will pay only $1 to get home on the bus.

We are hoping the reduced fare and the convenience of added buses will encourage people to choose to take Kingston Transit to Centre events,- says Paula Nichols, Manager of Kingston Transit, who notes that taking the bus to events at the downtown Centre is a natural choice as it is close to the transit hub that serves the entire city.

When a crowd of 3,000 or more is expected at a Centre event, Kingston Transit will add buses to existing service on Routes 1, E2, E6, and 18 so that event-goers can plan to take the bus home. The additional service will run for all Kingston Frontenac Hockey games.

Additional buses will be available to take event-goers home after an event (see your Ride Guide for regular transit service schedule). The buses can be boarded at event bus stops to be set up on the northwest corner of Queen and King Streets.
